Light of the World

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.… Matt5:14-16

Father, set me ablaze and burning,
Burning with passion and compassion.
Holy Spirit, wash me and make me clean,
Holy and acceptable for your commission.

Jesus, open my eyes and help me see,
Oh Lord I believe, help me overcome my unbelief.
Teach me to live this life by faith in You,
You who loved me and gave Yourself for me.
